Keynote Address
The Well-Being Advantage: Reframing Quality in Continuing Care – Susan Stevens
Susan’s keynote will examine the link between workforce well-being and care quality in continuing care. Drawing on research and leadership experience, she will share practical strategies to strengthen communication, teamwork, and leadership, positioning workforce well-being as a core priority for quality and sustainability.
​
Susan Stevens is a former senior leader in Nova Scotia’s continuing care system with nearly two decades of experience across government and health authorities. A licensed social worker, Certified Health Executive, EXTRA Fellow, and long-standing faculty member at Mount Saint Vincent University, she continues to teach and deliver leadership and workplace education programs across sectors. Susan has received multiple awards for leadership, innovation, and excellence in teaching.
